28 oz | (2 cans) Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce | |||
1 cup | golden raisins | |||
1 | apple, peeled and diced apple | |||
1/2 cup | sugar | |||
1/2 cup | apple cider vinegar | |||
1/2 tsp | ground allspice | |||
1/2 tsp | ground ginger | |||
1/2 tsp | ground cinnamon | |||
1/2 tsp | ground cloves | |||
1 tbls | lemon juice | |||

This
is topping for turkey or pork. It is quite bold in tartness and
sweetness so this quantity will serve about 12 people since each will
only take a tablespoon or two. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer uncovered over medium-low heat stirring occasionally. As the sauce thickens, turn the heat down to low. After about 30 minutes, the apples will be tender and the sauce has reduced to almost a jelly-like consistency. Turn off the heat and serve it warm. |
