 Custom Guitar Stands

▲Cherry wood with blue velvet, body supported. 10"w x 16"d x 18"h SOLD
Functional sculpture - and pretty damn kick-ass, too!  It's free flowing and organic just like an improvisational jam.

You bought that expensive guitar and you're putting it on a cheap piece of bent up sheet metal.  This stand will display your guitar with some class - and it's something your wife won't mind sitting in the living room.  This one is all made from cherry wood finished with linseed oil and lacquer which was hand rubbed to a semi-gloss finish, but you can certainly choose your own wood.  The foam pads are wrapped with crushed velvet and gracefully support your guitar (guitar not inclu... wait, I can include a custom guitar as well!).

If you have an oddly shaped guitar and can't find a stand for it, I will gladly make you one for a custom and secure fit.

Sold $300
Upgrade to exotic wood, inlays, or other options for a nominal upcharge.  See cool options below.

Available Options To Make It Your Own
The $300 base price includes:
● Sized for an electric, large body/acoustic, or odd-shaped guitar.
● Your choice of body supported or neck supported.  Neck supported is more stable; whereas, body supported is more compact.
● Locally available hardwoods like cherry, walnut, birch, maple, red oak, white oak, or mahogany.
● There will be an upcharge for exotic woods like curly maple, purpleheart, wenge, etc..  I'll quote you the difference in price for the wood you're interested in.  The sky is the limit.
● Mono-tone pods (the round elements that frame the velvet pads).  The wood can be the same as the rest of the stand or a complimentary wood (an exotic wood upcharge would apply here, too).
● Your choice in finish color.  If you want to go beyond natural wood tones, let me stain it to compliment your guitar.
● The standard finish is 3 coats of lacquer.  You can add a premium guitar-like finish which includes 8 coats of lacquer, lots of sanding, lots of buffing, and a final coat of wax.
● Your choice of velvet color from any of those they sell at the fabric store.
● You can call or email me and I'll step you through all the choices.  My info is in the title bar at the top of this page.

Cutting Board in the Shape of Your Dream Guitar
Great for entertaining!  After the patterned block of wood is assembled, I can cut just about any shape out of it you desire.  These examples show an actual size PRS Santana and an acoustic, but anything is possible.  These end grain cutting boards are about 13"w x 18"d x 2 1/2"h and are made from a mix of maple, cherry, and walnut.  They feature rubber feet to grip your table.
